Behnaz Mahdizadeh Tabrizi – Bridging Poetry, Architecture, and the Art of Jewelry
At Maralkunst, we believe jewelry is more than adornment — it is a bridge.
A bridge between art and soul, between cultures and time, between the language of matter and the silence of meaning.
Among the artists who embody this philosophy with grace and mastery is Behnaz Mahdizadeh Tabrizi, an Iranian jewelry artist and educator whose creations transcend technique and become timeless symbols of beauty, culture, and thought.

The Nature Bridge Ring – Connection in Motion

Inspired by the elegant Tabiat Bridge in Tehran — a masterpiece of modern Iranian architecture — this ring captures the spirit of unity between people, nature, and design.
Behnaz reinterprets the bridge’s interwoven steel structure into a sculptural form that rests gracefully on the hand.
At its heart lies a green tourmaline, cut in an emerald shape — a symbol of vitality, harmony, and renewal.
Crafted in 925 silver, plated with 18K gold, the ring radiates strength and lightness at once — a poetic balance between structure and soul.
Like the bridge itself, this piece invites us to pause, reflect, and reconnect — to stand at the meeting point of nature and creation.
The Khayyam-Inspired Ring – Geometry of the Soul

Behnaz’s fascination with Omar Khayyam — the Persian poet, philosopher, and mathematician — finds expression in this extraordinary ring.
Its architectural design mirrors the geometric harmony of Khayyam’s mausoleum, where astronomy and art intertwine.
Each line and curve reflects the delicate symmetry between intellect and emotion, reason and reverie.
Within the piece, a verse from Khayyam’s timeless poetry is engraved —
a reminder that “this caravan of life passes swiftly…”
Here, mathematics becomes melody, and metal becomes a vessel of wisdom.
Veins of the Earth – The Pulse of Creation

Handcrafted from pure copper and adorned with turquoise from the Nishapur mines, this necklace is a love letter to Mother Earth.
Its wave-like lines resemble the veins of the soil, carrying the lifeblood of our planet.
Delicate leaves emerge among the curves — symbols of forests, renewal, and the endless rhythm of nature.
Triangular forms, representing water, fire, and earth, remind us of the sacred balance that sustains life.
In Behnaz’s hands, metal becomes movement — and jewelry becomes prayer.
Mother – The Heart Within the Heart

Few pieces speak of tenderness as eloquently as the “Mother” Necklace.
A large silver heart shelters a smaller one beneath — symbolizing protection, love, and the eternal bond between mother and child.
The stones are Khorasan agates, each revealing natural landscapes within their depths, accompanied by freshwater pearls, symbols of purity and grace.
Handcrafted in 925 sterling silver, this necklace celebrates motherhood as both strength and sanctuary — love made tangible.
The Artist Behind the Work
With over 20 years of experience, Behnaz Mahdizadeh Tabrizi has become one of the key figures in contemporary Iranian jewelry art.
She is the founder and official registrar of Wire Jewelry within Iran’s Technical and Vocational Training Organization and a certified silver clay instructor from Japan.
Her creations are born from three intertwined worlds — the world of social connection, the world of individual dialogue, and the world of pure creativity.
Most of her works live in the second realm, where art meets empathy, and jewelry becomes an intimate reflection of the human soul.
A Bridge Between Worlds
At Maralkunst, we are honored to represent artists like Behnaz — visionaries who turn heritage into harmony and craft into connection.
Her work aligns deeply with our mission to bridge cultures, emotions, and artistry — reminding us that the truest jewelry carries stories, not just shine.
