We offer quick and easy FREE 30-day returns for all customers. Before getting started, please check below to see if your item is eligible for a return!

Engraved and Customized Products

All items that are engraved or customized are not eligible for a return at any time and are final sale.

Bundle Sets

The bundle can only be returned as a set. No individual item of a bundle can be returned for refund, store credit and/or size exchange.

Other products

All returns must be:

• Unworn

• Have no signs of wear or damage

• In its original condition with tags still attached (if any)

• In all original packaging (box and pouch included)

Please return your order back to us in the original packaging it came in (or smaller), no oversized or large boxes will be accepted as this increases shipping rates. 

Maral Kunst will not be responsible for increased fees due to large packaging and reserves the right to deduct additional shipping fees from the refunded amount when applicable. Should the returned item not meet the above return guidelines, Maral Kunst has the right to deny a return and have the item re-shipped to customers.

Note: Items purchased through a third-party vendor (outside of Maralkunst.com and/or Maral Kunst store) must be returned through the company that it was purchased from.

Black Friday Return Policy

Should you return an item and the remaining value of the order falls below the threshold before the sale discount and tax, your 20% off Black Friday promotion will no longer be valid. The refund amount will be calculated to reflect the regular price of the remaining items in the order. For more details, please visit here

Please check our return policy to make sure the item is eligible for a return and send us an email at contact@maralkunst.com requesting your return label. Don’t forget to include the following:

1. The order number (Don’t worry if you don’t have one. The original purchaser’s full name and email address also help us track down the order)

2. The address where the jewelry will be shipped from

If you placed a return or exchange through our online portal and it's been longer than 14 business days since our warehouse received your return, drop us a line so that we can expedite the process. Contact us

Once our warehouse has received your return, please allow up to 2 weeks for a refund or store credit to be issued. If it has been longer than two weeks, please Contact us here.

Unfortunately, all items that are engraved or customized are not eligible for a return at any time and are final sale.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We always do the best to make sure our customers love our collections, but if you do need to return in any manner, we’re happy to help. 

Just contact us at contact@maralkunst.com or you can come to my store in Oslo, and we’ll take you through the process. Please make sure all items are in good condition :)

That is normal to sometimes have an unlucky day that your beloved jewelry breaks. 

You can just let me know via email contact@maralkunst.com or come directly to my shop in Oslo, and I will fix it for you, with love. :)

Shipping prices are calculated based on order weight, shipping address and postal service selected. Price options will be displayed at checkout.

All orders over 1500 NOK receive FREE standard shipping.

Your custom and ready to wear pieces are handmade with care; it will take some time to produce.

A custom piece is any item with actual handwriting, paw print, fingerprint hand or foot print. 

The creation process for these custom pieces is more extensive and requires more time than our ready to wear pieces. 

Please allow up to 2-3 weeks plus shipping time to create your meaningful piece.

The Maral Kunst Gift Card is redeemable for Maral Kunst merchandise up to the purchase value of the card, and is available in denominations from 500 NOK to 5000 NOK. 

The Maral Kunst Gift Card is for you to share with your loved ones the experience of shopping at Maral Kunst. 

The Maral Kunst Gift Card can be used in our Norway store, for catalogue orders and on our website maralkunst.com. 

It may not be redeemed for cash. To purchase a Maral Kunst Gift Card click here.

Yes, as long as there is still a balance on the card. 

To check your balance, please email contact@maralkunst.com with the name of the person who ordered the gift card and the order number of the gift card.

For customized and engraved pieces, once the order is placed, we are not able to cancel or update the order.

The processing time for our custom pieces can take anywhere from 10-15 business PLUS shipping. 

Each piece is handcrafted in our studio from start to finish. 

From cutting the metals, sanding, gold plating, polishing, soldering and quality inspection. 

We do have some pieces that are ready to ship.

— Your order was never actually placed and processed.

Please note that once the order has been placed, we are unable to change the method of payment and/or currency.

There may be a few reasons why your card has declined: 

You may have insufficient funds.

Your card billing details may not have been entered correctly at checkout or your card has expired.

Your card issuer may have declined your payment and they don’t tell us why, so we would recommend getting in touch with them for further information.

You will be charged in the currency shown on the product pages and at checkout. 

If you’re not paying in your local currency your payment will be converted by your card issuer, this may be subject to a conversion fee depending on the policy of your bank.

Simply enter the discount code in the checkout page! A limit of one (1) discount may be applied to each order. 

If a second discount code is applied, our system will automatically select the better deal and the other discount will not be applied. 

Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with referral credit, referral codes or any other type of discount.

JEWELRY CARE

Gold Vermeil/Sterling Silver

A little love goes a long way! When not wearing your jewelry, be sure to store it in the pouch it came in. This helps prevent scratching and maintain colour for vermeil and silver pieces. To keep your piece looking its best, gently rub the surface with the polishing cloth included in your order. Remove your jewelry when applying scents, lotions and sprays.

 

18K Gold

TLC is always needed, even for 18K - to keep your 18k pieces shining and retain their patina for as long as possible, scrub lightly with a fresh toothbrush and warm water. Make sure to rinse away any excess residue! You can also buff your 18K pieces gently using the polishing cloth included in your order.

 

Milestone Collection (Engagement rings and Wedding bands)

Precious metals and diamonds require care and attention to extend their lifetime. Although made for everyday wear, rings need routine care. We recommend the rings be cleaned and inspected every 6-12 months (through your local jeweler). For regular maintenance, you can use the polishing cloth included in your order to buff the surface. Make sure the prongs are properly maintained in order to prevent the loss of stones.

 

Leather Products

A gentle sweep using a microfiber cloth will do the trick to remove any dust! It's best to keep them out of direct sunlight to prolong its colour.

To keep your piece looking its best, gently rub the surface with the polishing cloth. Always wash your hands after use to ensure the cleaning agent is removed. 

It is normal to see dark residue on the cloth, it’s a sign that it is working correctly! The cloth contains a small amount of cleaning agent which will hold on to any dirt, oil & residues that are removed from the surface of the item being polished. Never wash the polishing cloth as it will lose its effectiveness. Keep out of reach of children.

Everchanging factors such as global supply chain disruption, inflation, and cost fluctuation of raw materials such as gold and diamonds may impact our prices from time to time.

We don't recommend having our products worked on by outside jewelers as this voids any potential for refund or replacement (should a defect develop due to their work). 

This includes resizing or any type of repair work. 

Although we do not offer any repair or resizing service, if your Maral Kunst piece is defective and covered under the warranty, please send your order number and a photo of the defective piece to contact@maralkunst.com !

We always have our finest material crafted and best color quality. 

Stainless steel in silver color always keeps the color and it is waterproof and you can take shower and washable. 

Gold-plated & stainless steel is plated with 18karat gold many layers, have guaranteed for at least one year. If it is being washed everyday, after +- 8 months, the color will be slowly turned into silverish-goldish. 

It is preferable to not wash it everyday or in contact with soap, because it will have the risk as mentioned above. As for 925 silver, the color is not changing at all. :)

A Maral Kunst piece is a timeless investment. Looking after your jewelry properly will help maintain its splendor, shine and lifespan. Below, we’ll offer you a few useful tips on how to care for and maintain your jewelry (it’s really easy!) 

Maintaining shine 

It is important that you follow our suggested care instructions to help to prevent loss of shine.

Your jewelry can lose its shine when exposed to air during a long period of time.

Loss of shine or tarnishing is a natural process that can be recovered through a special washing.

We strongly recommend taking off your jewelry before going to bed, showering, or taking part in any physical activity.

Exposure to certain chemicals or environments may compromise the integrity of your jewelry. This includes (but is not limited to): perspiration (sweat), perfumes/colognes, cleaning products, chlorine, salt water, or silver polish, etc.

 

Cleaning your jewelry 

Mix a little soap with lukewarm water and rub the item with a soft toothbrush. Toothbrushes are perfect for cleaning jewelry with difficult-to-access corners. If dirt persists, carry out the same process in clean water. Important: gold-plated items require greater care. Rubbing too hard may cause loss of plating. It is therefore important that you do this gently in order to avoid any damage. A special silver-polishing cloth is a great tool to make your jewelry shine again, in the event that it becomes darkened over time. However, this technique will not remove any scratches or dents present on the jewelry. 

 

How to preserve your jewelry

Your jewelry should be kept away from any exposure to sunlight or warm places, ideally in a padded jewelry box or tarnish-resistant bag. You can also keep these in individual airtight plastic (polyethylene) bags. Never use rubber containers, as these can result in accelerated tarnishing and are likely to cause the jewelry to darken. Under no circumstances should you keep your jewelry in a bathroom or any humid locations. Keep in mind that Maral Kunst boxes are not designed to keep items in perfect condition for prolonged periods of time, as they are not airtight containers, and color alteration may occur due to lack of use. 

 

Please note:

Maral Kunst cannot guarantee that the gold-plating of our items will last forever. Gold-plated items are, by their nature, more fragile and susceptible to lose color over time. The speed at which this color fades will depend on various factors, such as the use of chemical products on the skin, how much the wearer sweats, or even the pH level of the individual’s skin. For this reason, it is particularly important to ensure suitable care of your gold-plated jewelry.
